America: From Freedom to Fascism” on KBDI-TV

Friday, April 13th, 2007

Determined to find the law that requires American citizens to pay income tax, producer Aaron Russo (”The Rose,” “Trading Places”) set out on a journey to find the evidence. This film which is neither left, nor right-wing is a startling examination of government. It exposes the systematic erosion of civil liberties in America since 1913 when the Federal Reserve system was fraudulently created. Through interviews with U.S. Congressmen, a former IRS Commissioner, former IRS and FBI agents and tax attorneys and authors, Russo connects the dots between money creation, federal income tax, and the national identity card which becomes law in May 2008. This ID card will use Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips which are essentially homing devices used to track people. This film shows in great detail and undeniable facts that America is moving headlong into a fascist police state. Wake up!

Ron Paul 2008

Sunday, March 25th, 2007

Visit Ron Paul’s campaign website and get an overview of where he stands on some of the major issues–from the war in Iraq to immigration reform. It is a compact, concise site; easy to navigate and quick to read. If you like what you see, then consider getting involved and supporting his campaign.

While he is running on a Republican ticket he does hold enough Libertarian philosophy to make him a good alternative to Government-As-Usual.

District of Columbia’s gun control laws violate individuals’ Second Amendment rights

Tuesday, March 13th, 2007

This week, the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the Second Amendment is an individual right and concluded that the District of Columbia’s ban on guns in the home is unconstitutional. According to the majority opinion, “[T]he phrase ‘the right of the people’…leads us to conclude that the right in question is individual.” Also, earlier this week, Second Amendment supporters on Capitol Hill introduced H.R. 1399 - the “District of Columbia Personal Protection Act.”

Ron Paul announces candidacy

Tuesday, March 13th, 2007

Ron Paul announced yesterday his plan to run for President on the Republican ticket . You can learn more about Ron Paul at http://www.house.gov/paul/legis.shtml  I highly recommend signing up for his free weekly e-newsletter. You can read past articles in the list of “Texas Straight Talk” items on the Web site.

He is against the war, against illegal immigration, against gun control, against big government, and against the erosion of the principals established by our Bill of Rights and the Constitution. His voting record reflects his principals. Probably for this reason alone, he doesn’t stand a hope in hell of winning.

He is the first politician I can truly get excited about.

Ron Paul Possibly Running for President

Thursday, January 18th, 2007

According to today’s Liberator Online, Ron Paul is setting up an exploratory committee. What that means is that he is considering running for president in 2008. To get a feel for Ron Paul and his politics, read the full article at http://www.theadvocates.org/liberator/vol-12-num-2.html#GBU

I’m a supporter of Ron Paul, and his free weekly email letter is always informative. I can’t think of a better time for Paul to make his bid for presency. It is clear (at least to me!) that neither Democrats nor Republicans can offer any remedy to the U.S. problems of economy, foreign affairs, and loss of civil liberties. Both parties can only make these problems worse. If nothing else, Ron Paul’s campaign could present Americans with an opportunity to THINK and realize that there are options to the current status quo.
